A Carnie Parkrun at Heartlands
There was a strong Carn Runners presence at Heartlands Parkrun this weekend, as several of our members turned out to support this brilliant local event.
Donna, Robert, Charmaine, Dawn, Sally, and Mollie were all out on the course, running, smiling, and flying the Carn vests with pride. For some, it was part of their weekend training, for others a chance to enjoy a more relaxed start to the day – but all shared the same spirit of fun and community.
Even more special, Heartlands Parkrun is directed by our very own Kat, so it was fantastic to see fellow Carnies out there backing her and the whole volunteer team who make the event happen every week.
Parkruns are such a brilliant way to keep active, meet people, and give back to the running community – and it’s always great to see Carn Runners getting involved.
