A Cracking Day Out: Carrick Cracker 2025
This year’s Carrick Cracker was a fantastic success, with over 60 runners taking on one of the three challenging routes – 15, 11, or 7 miles of beautiful and sometimes brutal Cornish trail.
The sun shone, the mud clung, and the hills did their best to test us – but the spirit of the day couldn’t be dampened. With Carn Runners out in force across all distances, it was brilliant to see so many familiar faces out enjoying the trails together.
🎂 A huge thanks goes to Sarah, whose legendary cakes were as much a highlight as the running. Post-race refuelling was done in true Carnie style – with cake in hand and smiles all round.
💚 Most importantly, the event helped raise an amazing £600+ for Cornwall Hospice Care – a cause close to many hearts and a real credit to the efforts of organisers, runners, and volunteers alike.
