Mud, Smiles, and Hellish Hills at Run Like Hell
It was a muddy and magnificent day out for Carn Runners as Janet, Sarah, Cat, and her friend Tamzin took part in the Bys Vyken “Run Like Hell” race – a rugged out-and-back adventure from Hell’s Mouth to Portreath and back again.
True to its name, the course threw in a bit of everything: clifftop paths, slippy singletrack, and more than enough mud to keep things interesting. But the challenge was all part of the fun.
🏃♀️ Janet summed it up perfectly: “Enjoyable and muddy!” – and we couldn’t agree more.
Despite the tough terrain, all four runners had a great time embracing the wild Cornish coastline and the brilliant event atmosphere. This race continues to be a popular choice for those who like their miles served with a side of grit.
Well done to our muddy quartet – and hats off to Bys Vyken Events for another cracking race! 👣🌊
