Grand Prix and Mini Grand Prix Standings Update Post-Newquay 10K

About the Club

The Newquay 10K, held on 2nd February 2025, marked the second event in the Cornish Grand Prix Series. Organised by Newquay Road Runners, the event attracted over 800 participants, all eager to tackle the fast, predominantly flat course with its notable early incline just after the first mile.

Following the race, the Grand Prix standings have been updated, reflecting the performances of club runners across Cornwall. While specific individual rankings are detailed in the official tables, it’s evident that competition remains fierce, with many athletes showcasing impressive early-season form.

For our club members, participation in these events is crucial, not only for individual accolades but also for contributing to our overall team standings. We encourage all members to review the updated tables and identify areas where we can collectively improve and strategise for upcoming races.

The next event in the series is the Looe 10 Miler, scheduled for 2nd March 2025. This race presents another opportunity to earn valuable points and strengthen our positions in both the Grand Prix and Mini Grand Prix standings. Let’s continue to train diligently and support each other as we progress through the series.
