On Saturday, January 18th, 2025, Carn Runners’ Sally represented the club at the Twilight Run in Tehidy Country Park, organised by Purple Gecko Events. This unique evening race required participants to navigate forest trails under the illumination of head torches, adding an adventurous twist to the 5K course.
Despite the challenges of running in low-light conditions, Sally delivered an impressive performance, completing the course with determination and enthusiasm. The event featured a well-marked route through the serene woodlands of Tehidy, offering runners a blend of flat paths and gentle inclines.
Post-race, participants were rewarded with bespoke Twilight Run medals, commemorating their achievement. The evening concluded with warm refreshments, allowing runners to share their experiences and celebrate their accomplishments.
Reflecting on the race, Sally commented, “Fantastic evening running through the woods. Beautiful sunset was a bonus.”
